So it’s here. The great SM64O v9.55_02b.

What’s new?

  • Complete Upgrade of the Engine. Look at the Page “Buy” and be fantastic.
  • Way better GUI
  • Alot of new functions, including the Lua coding ability.
  • Added 2 Extra custom object packs for Zombie Servers, because it is Halloween :D

To the modders:

Upgrade your Engine to v3.0.1 since it is needed else your mod will not work.

Just to know: Game sellings are cancelled until SM64O Classic v9.55 is released.

Another SM64 Source Code RELEASE!!! SM64Source v2.0.0 IS HERE!!!

I decided now to release the whole and restly source Code (still unfinisiehd and not documented).

I’ve added now the AI part of our own made game engine etc. actually i finally released the whole source code. Now you are able to completly mod SM64O.

I think that should be enough. To get the Source code(if you are a modder) go in-game and press request PW or Request SRC and you get Engine and source.

Modders are now allowed to sell their Mods for money + SM64O Engine v2.90 RELEASED!!!

I changed the license a bit, you may as modder sell your Mod for real money.

To get your Mod accepted to Community officiall ones then following requierments must be right:

  • The source code you got must be validated and i check if you stolen it, if you stole it then i will go with legal law against you + Your mod won’t get accepted.
  • If you sell your Mod and the price goes over 10$ your Mod will also be not accepted. All mods selled under 9$ gets accepted. Mods aren’t something special.
  • You have to agree the Terms Of Service.
  • If your Mod is very bad quality(what actually shouldn’t happen because i only choose the good ones, but if) then it will be put into the Bargain Bin where all poor quality mods goes.
  • Mods will be NOT accepted if you did crappy coding on it, like changing the LUA codes etc. I check every mod before releasing. Exploits may cause the Servers to crash etc.
  • Mods will be NOT accepted if they have open connections which can anyone access to. It’s horrible and dangerous.
  • Mods that remove the original credits to Messiaen and the Nintendo Team will be not accepted. The License allows to you to do more, but not to remove all the credits to the original authors.

These rules are for all current modders(Exactly: 689)

ALSO! The SM64O Engine v2.90 has been released. Just to know as validated modder you get the Engine in-game, to prevent stealing.

SM64O Classic v9.55b News

So the Beta will start tomerrow, so calm down. I just wanna tell the News, since people are mass requesting for it.

What im planning to do is, first i wanna reconstruct the scripting system a bit. We used before C# for our Add-Ons. Now im going to change that a bit. Since i got SM64O Classic in C++, i will begin giving the Modders the ability to change more functions of the game in C++. For the Add-On makers, there will be no C# anymore. We will change to a more flexible programming language: “LUA”

It’s very compatible, fast and good. it will allow huge more features as before.

The change from C# to Lua can be a bit complicated. I first decided to give users the ability to download old add-ons with C# scripts but cannot make any new or change them, but because of the reason more hackers will do hacks to it, i will not insert it. So, here comes my new Announce: TO ALL Add-On makers! Update your C# Add-ons with Lua. The RTS64 v3 System will be soon going down and the RTS64v4 will coming up soon. All Add-Ons with C# Scripts will not work anymore at SM64O Classic v9.55b. So i just tell to the Beta Testers, change if you want it. You have to life in Beta without any Add-Ons now. The Modders will be able to use C,C#,C++ or Lua. Since they need it more than me. Also Lua is safer against Hacks, i will also lock Lua and make it encoded to machine binary.

I hope you understand this. Also there are going to be other awesome new features.

SM64O Blog –Fixed– + SM64O Engine v1.0.0 Preview AND + SM64O v9.53 RELEASED!!

Today something went wrong with our blog. Our blog was completly messed up so it was gone for this day. It’s now back and we got that error fixed. I think it won’t happen again.

Also, a new feature will be soon invade us. Heard of GuiAviBitmapCtrl? It’s a new Guiclass that allows you to play Avi video’s in SM64O. I think it will be useful for the mod developer’s. An preview is coming soon.

AND YES IT IS FINALLY HERE THE LONG AWAITED SM64O v9.53!!!

UPDATES:

  • Added last 2 skills.
  • Completly improved Player List, and alot of GUI’s.
  • Improved KeyGUI and fixed exploits that let’s you Generate Key’s. Future Keys do not have an algorithm anymore.
  • Added SM64OLauncher.exe. This let’s allow me to put small, quick updates to Downloading. It also works with UAC and multiple Accounts.
  • Fixed C# Exploit. It was huge :O
  • Removed some code crap, that caused lag. Lag Decreased ~25%
  • Added for Modders: I have added dumpNetStringTable()
  • Improved Speed of the Servers.

SM64O Engine RELEASED!!

Well, the SM64O_E v0.92a (Alpha) is released.

This is included:

  • GFX Editor
  • GUI Editor(Full functionality)
  • Mission Editor
  • Mario64Script
  • AnimationEditor (for editing Mario’s animation)
  • PaletteEditor(edit’s the color’s. You can add unlimited custom color’s or replace some of the original)

What’s going to be added soon:

  • Soon i will add into M64S(Mario64Script) TCPObject and HTTPObject functions to download and request things from your website, server etc.
  • Adding Physic’s Editor.

Note: As Modder, you are able to change everything in SM64, no one is going to stop you from it. Just to know is you are not allowed to sell that mod for real money. You can keep it private, but don’t sell it for money. Also, don’t release the Source Code of your Mod since it still has Source Code’s of SM64.
